Weekly Update

The kids and I are still visiting my parents on the mainland.  Hubby is taking a class that finishes up on Dec 18, so he won't be back with us for another couple of weeks.

I have made a little progress- a very little progress- on the Eagle Sampler.

I am having trouble motivating myself to work on it.  I guess I am not going to finish all my official goals for the year.  But I think I have made tremendous progress on my stash this year, so I am happy with my work.

My mom has a lot of stitch stash.  So much that she and I will never finish it together in both our lifetimes!  LOL. So while we are staying here, I riffled through her patterns and found one to stitch.  This was started on Thursday.

If I get Itty Bitty done this month, I will have completed 30 stitch projects this year!  Woo Hoo!

Thanks for stopping by my  blog!  I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas season!

Mom's Pilgrims and Indians

We are on the mainland for the holidays this year.  Thanksgiving dinner was at my parents' house.  Here is my mom's Thanksgiving arrangement.

Isn't that turkey cute? What a great set!

Weekend Update

I don't have much to report for stitching.  Since I finished up my last goal, I have not been very motivated to stitch.  Guess I needed a break!  Maybe I still do.  The only stitching I did since my last post was a new start.  This is Home of The Brave, by R & R Reproductions.

Here is my start on it.

I am trying to get rolling on my last goal, the Eagle Sampler, but I am feeling really unmotivated right now.  We are traveling to the mainland this week, so I am busy trying to pack and get ready.  Maybe once we get settled over there, I will feel a little more like stitching.

One more project done.  I finished Blessings Be Thine today on the way back from violin group.  Yay!  One more and I will have 30 on the year.

Another One Done! Number 28!

Finish number 28!  Also, number 11 of my goals for 2009.  I finished up Blue Jean Bear for my BearLover (DD2).  This is for her birthday in January, so I have plenty of time to get it finished.
